This semester is coming to a close and I'm ready to go home!  I'm ready for some change!  Some things just never change and some things change to the point where you want to pull out your hair!  Ha!  But we all have to let go and move on!  It's always for the best.

I'm so ready for Christmas and to be home with family and friends!  I miss them sooo much, there just isn't anyone like my family!!!!  I am so blessed and if I could have anything it would be that God would just truly bless them, like they've blessed me!

Psalm 116:1-9

"I love the Lord because he hears and answers my prayers.  Because He bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I have breath!  Death has its hands around my throat; the terrors of the grave overtook me.  I saw only trouble and sorrow.  Then I called on the name of the Lord:  "Please, Lord save me!"  How kind the Lord is!  How good he is!  So merciful, this God of ours!  The Lord protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and then He saved me.  Now I can rest again, for the Lord has been so good to me.  He saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.  And so I walk in the Lord's presence as I live here on earth!"

God is sooo Good!!!  Chapel was amazing today and everything I wanted and needed the Lord has fulfilled, everything that has been broken has been put back together!! AMEN!  I know the things that the Lord has for me and I can't wait for it to happen!!!  God hears every cry and every plea!!!  And He is sooo Holy, Merciful and He's my DADDY!!!!

"Take delight in the Lord and He will give you, your heart's desires.  Commit everything  you do to the Lord.  Trust Him and He will help you."  (Psalm 37:4-5)

I am 22 years old and everyone tells me "Ivy, one day your prince will come, you just have to be patient, the right one will come around..."  HA!  Who knows when that will happen.  I've never dated, and never thought I was really ready.  But as you get older and all your friends back home are all pretty much married and having babies, all your hope starts to get flushed down the toilet!  Now I have put all my Faith in God, yes that one day and I say one day the man I marry will come around.  But I don't want a prince.  Not every relationship is a fairytale, we all have flaws!!!  I just want someone who will be A GODLY MAN, LEADER, HONEST,  LOVE ME FOR ME, AND WON'T BREAK MY HEART ONCE IT'S GIVEN TO HIM!  That is pretty much what every girl wants, it's not too much to ask for.  I remember having crushes on guys and got to know them, and in the end having my heart broken and I don't want to have to go through that ever again!  I know I deserve the best, and that is God's best and I know one day I will get it!
